The South Wake Sabres is a great basketball program for home-schooled boys and girls. We have 6 teams – both boys and girls teams spanning from middle school through high school. We look forward each year to encouraging these kids to live out their faith in Christ while playing basketball at a competitive level. As part of character development, the players also serve in multiple areas of community service at With Love From Jesus and in support of local churches through Upward programs (referees and free camps).
We are an approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We welcome any corporate or personal contributions to support our program. It takes approximately $30,000 per year to run the South Wake Sabres organization. One of our main costs is for gym usage since we do not have a gym of our own. But there are also many other associated costs including (but not limited to) uniforms, referees, insurance, equipment, event entry fees, league fees, and more. We envision a basketball program where every player who wants to participate is afforded the opportunity to do so. The goal is to make the cost to each member as affordable as possible and to accomplish this, we need your help.
The primary goal of athletics should be to teach life lessons and life skills that will equip and prepare our young men and women for the world beyond youth athletics. Our desire is to provide the very best opportunity for those who wish to play at the next level. Winning is important, but it is not the most important thing. Bringing honor and glory to God in how we play is most important. Will you consider partnering with us to accomplish this admirable goal?
In addition to helping to positively impact the lives of these kids, companies that sponsor the program will have their company logo listed on our website and displayed at all home games generating company exposure to 400 plus individuals each week.
Any amount that you can donate would be welcomed and your contribution is tax deductible as allowed by law. Thank you very much for your consideration.
